I think this is a great line…  There are two kinds of people in relationships: those that give everything and love it and those that take everything and love it.  I agree that relationships must be a 50/50 game – but in so many situations they are just not. So many times when we are in love maybe for the right or wrong reasons – we lose ourselves.  Love gets complicated because being in love means that you open your heart to disillusionment.  Invariably we believe so deeply in our partner that we stay in the relationship, more times than not, too long.  All the answers are so easily spoken – trust your instincts, put your own happiness above the relationship, you’ll find love again, be a bitch because ‘men love bitches’…  but getting out is just sooo hard – especially if you fall in givers category.  It’s a beautiful vulnerability to have – if you can embrace it and learn to respect it.  Because as the lyrics point out – if you never try…if you never try to let go – you’ll never know just what you’re worth.  And knowing what you are worth is part of winning in life and love.  Because when you know whom you are and the beauty in being that person – you wont be unappreciated.
